The trio Peter, Paul and Mary (often PP&M) is an American musical group that was one of the most successful folk-singing groups of the 1960s. The trio comprises Peter Yarrow, Noel Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers. It may seem amazing that Peter, Paul and Mary did not release a multi-disc retrospective until 1998, partly because they have retained a measure of control over their catalog. After the death of Mary Travers in 2009, Yarrow and Stookey continued to perform as a duo under their individual names.
