Candido’s Dancin’ and Prancin’ was released in 1979 on Salsoul Records at the dizzying peak of the Disco craze. There are only four songs on the album, aimed squarely at the Discos and their glittering lights. It was a normal musical industry custom circa 1979 for Disco albums to have no more then 4 songs, released in their full length album versions. Dancin’ and Prancin’ delivers four breathtaking Dance classics, all of which found a home in Discos and clubs across the world, particularly in New York and Philadelphia.
