I'd like to echo kingcomplex's review and add that these songs need to be released on vinyl.

The A.G’s are the best late 80s/early 90s punk band you’ve never heard of. It blows my mind their records aren’t worth a ton by now. Yes you fool, they’re THAT good. “This World Sucks” is a CD comp of everything they ever recorded, plus a few more, and it’s an under-the-radar genre gem that belongs in your collection next to your Angry Samoans, Descendents, Screeching Weasel, and Sinkhole records. (Speaking of Sinkhole, that’s the band these guys formed post-A.G’s and they ruled too). Short, catchy four chord punk songs with funny lyrics about boobs, cops, punk girls, and being a fuck up. It’s worth noting, however, that The A.G.s weren’t imitators or plagiarists of their influencers; the music isn’t anything groundbreaking but they put a fun, energetic spin on the material, and that’s part of what makes hearing them for the first time such a surprise. They also do a sweet cover of GG’s lesser known gem “NYC Tonight”, and a solid sped up rendition of “Jesse’s Girl”. These guys wrote great songs, plain and simple. I hate to belabor the point but it kinda sucks that their music is now languishing in obscure, OOP hell. They don’t deserve that. Oh well, at least you can score their albums for cheap...if you can track ‘em down that is.

These guys are great. Underrated punk rock gems. Reminds me a lot of angry Samoans. Awesome!!!
