Amused to Death is the third studio album by English musician Roger Waters, released 1 September 1992 on Columbia. A remastered remix by Waters and James Guthrie was released in 2015. Roger Waters started working on Amused to Death in 1987 when he first wrote "Perfect Sense. It was several years before the album was released.

Released September 1, 1992. Amused To Death Tracklist. 1. The Ballad of Bill Hubbard Lyrics. Waters warns of the dangers of infinite entertainment. The album highlights some particularly troubling examples of this effect, such as the ability of people to distance themselves from real life calamity such as war because they are experiencing it as uninvolved spectators, and the subtle ways that the sensationalization of information shapes society’s feelings towards it. Many of the themes present in the album will be familiar to long-time fans of Waters'

Amused itself to death Amused itself to death.
