THRASHER DEATH "Slaver". As one would expect, there is some unevenness of quality across the album. A ripping beast like the title track (crossing Bronze-era MOTÖRHEAD with something along the lines of early EXODUS) and "Master of the Night" are rough, but no less enjoyable for it. The first seven tracks from the "Women Die" demo sound better, even with the bass heaviness and front-mix vocals.

What album would you tell kids to pick up who’ve never listened to Slayer? The new one, World Painted Blood, or would you tell them to listen to one of your earlier ones like Hell Awaits or Reign in Blood? I would tell them to pick the new one. This record is fucking-I mean-I’m a fan, and to me it’s an amazing record. And I’ve never really had that feeling. In all honesty, if someone were to pick up this record they would be getting Slayer. I watched a Slayer interview from 1985 last night. In it Dave Lombardo said that you guys would never change your style of music, and here we sit-this new album’s just as awesome as Hell Awaits. In that same interview you guys said it was all about speed. It’s still about speed and heaviness but there’s also definitely a group soul. I’ve read Internet rumors that this may be your last album, or that you’re going to do a trilogy of new albums.
I will be glad if you take a look to my work. Strong as hell! With raw sound and "demo" approach this album will introduce you to the best bands of that time. Hertz Studio Wieslawski Bros are putting the finishing touches to the record as we speak. You will be surprise to hear some great guest appearances as well. But we will reveal that soon.

Napalm’s second album, From Enslavement to Obliteration was released in 1988 to critical acclaim, basically putting the group (and grindcore) on the map. After joining the band on their third studio album Harmony Corruption in 1990, vocalist Mark Barney Greenway has been the face of Napalm Death-along with fellow band members Shane Embury (bass), Mitch Harris (guitar), and Danny Herrera (drums)-for the past 26 years. Touring for their latest (and 16th) full-length album Apex Predator: Easy Meat, we caught up with Barney before a recent gig at The Casbah in San Diego. Your first album with Napalm was Harmony Corruption. It’s listed as one of the greatest death metal albums of all time. How was it working on that album? The thing with Harmony Corruption was that it was never meant to have that sound. We didn’t want that to be our sound.
Thrasher Death (Poland, Chojnice; Speed/Thrash Metal) 2011 - Slaver (Compilation; CD; Label: I Hate-IHR CD 067-500 copies). They changed their name again in 1987 to Thrasher Death and recorded another demo in October entitled You Must Kill, introducing new bassist Ryszard Bujak. They gigged alongside Imperator, Morgoth, Leviathan and Slavoy. More line-up changes followed as Asmodeusz and Bemben were recruited by the army. Norbert Różański from Merciless Death took drum duties while vocals were handled by Dick Haret on the demo Women Die, recorded in June 1988 at the ARP Studios in Szczecin.
