Usually the garrison will have more troops than you can "carry" or have in your army, meaning that a take all button will just give you the top most troops on the list. Most people set their top troops deliberately because they spawn first in any siege, so most people will not want to use a take all button. There can sometimes be 5000 troops in battles, so moving prisonners and rescued troops after (constant) large battle is exhausting. Same goes for DLC like viking conquest, where a main source of your income and troops recruitment is from prisonners. This shortcut is desperately needed, cause every time i quit playing warband, its cause of this.
