Tina wrote the album Notes during her stay in England, capturing the loneliness and fear of being alone in London. Notes was written while Tina lived in Richmond and later on Tenter Ground near Brick Lane in London. Notes was recorded in cooperation with her friend Dennis Ahlgren over two days in June 2003. Tina Dickow (aka Tina Dico, born Tina Dickow on October 14, 1977 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a singer and songwriter, inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. In her home country of Denmark, she's well known for her collaboration with the lead singer of the band TV-2, Steffen Brandt. She won a Steppeulv and a Danish Music Award in 2004 for her album, Notes, and the award for best female vocalist at Danish Music Awards 2006. Where Do You Go to Disappear? 3,926 listeners.

In June 2005 Dickow released her third album In The Red that earned her a commercial breakthrough in Denmark and the title "vocalist of the year" at the Danish Music Awards that year. Her next album Count To Ten from 2007 entered the Danish albums charts as number 1 and stayed on the charts for 70 weeks. It established Dickow as one of the major acts on the musical scene in Denmark, a position she maintained with the next two albums A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending (2008) and The Road To Gävle (2009).
