In electronic music theory and electronic composition theory a sound object (coined by Pierre Schaeffer)1 corresponds with a primary unit of music such that could be played on an instrument or sung by a vocalist. A sound object specifically refers to recorded sound rather than music written using manuscript or a score.

Meirino, Phroq is widely published with work released through Groundfault, Banned Productions, Even Stilte, Entr'e acte, Solpisism, Gameboy, etc. and his own imprint, Shiver Sounds. Francisco Meirino has exhibited works at : the Mostra d’Art Sonor I Visual (Barcelona), The Scenario Pubblico (Catania), and the Standard-Deluxe art gallery (Lausanne), The For Noise Festival (Lausanne).

Got it. + add. album. Born in 1975, Francisco Meirino is active since 1994 in sound and live performance. He explores the tension between programmable material and the potential for its failure. Francisco Meirino's music is fascinating by its physical intensity and detail precision.
