José Fernando Viana de Santana (born 27 March 1987), commonly known as Fernandão, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker for Bahia. After a journeyman career in his homeland, he had a five-year spell in Turkish football with Bursaspor and Fenerbahçe, totalling 93 games and 49 goals in the Süper Lig. With the former in 2014–15, he was the league's top scorer with 22 goals.

Cândido José de Araújo Viana, Marquês de Sapucaí, (Nova Lima, 15 September 1793 - Rio de Janeiro, 23 January 1875) was a Brazilian politician and judge. He was at various times Minister of Finance, Minister of Justice, Councillor of State, deputy, Provincial President and a Senator from 1840 to 1875, elected from Minas Gerais. He was President of the Senate 1851-1853.

José Joaquín de Viana (1718–1773) was a Spanish military and political figure, Governor of Montevideo between 1751 and 1764 and 1771 and 1773. Of Basque origin, Viana started his military career in 1735 and fought in Italy during the War of the Austrian Succession (1740–1748), reaching the rank of colonel. On his return from that campaign, he was named first governor of Montevideo by King Ferdinand VI of Spain, in 1750, taking office in that city on March 14, 1751. The following month he faced a revolt of the Charruas Indians, who were defeated at the Battle of Tacuarí on 16 April.
