Chemical Miracle, Trophy Eyes' sophomore album, is also the record that launched the band into succes. The album was also critically acclaimed by music critics. Unlike 2014 debut Mend, Move On, Chemical Miracle is a more diverse album that shows influences from all genres throughout. Drummer Callum Cramp had the following to say about this change in sound to Already Heard: Our last album was a punk record because we used to listen to punk music all the time, and we wanted to be a tight-knit punk band that played 200 cap rooms

Chemical Miracle is the second studio album by Australian punk rock band Trophy Eyes. It was produced by Shane Edwards in Thailand. The name comes from John Floreani's perception of life - everything is made of a chemical, and life itself is a miracle. On 2 August 2016, a music video for "Chlorine" was released. 25 August the second song "Heaven Sent" was streamed through Hopeless. On 29 September 2016, a music video for "Breathe You In" was released.

Chemical Miracle’s last track, Daydreamer, is a sombre close to the album with soft vocals and slow and easy guitar. The feel of the song is similar to Home Is, with the lyrics describing a person arriving home and not feeling welcomed, connected or a part of things. When Floreani describes being alone with cigarettes at the airport, the guitars and drums all but disappear, fittingly, leaving Floreani solo before the lyric I’ve got friends seems to call the band back in, leading to another impressive outro with guitar closing the song
