Ideas Above Our Station and Shatterproof is Not a Challenge (2002–2004). Shatterproof is not a challenge' was released on 1 March 2004. The band headed out on a headline tour of the UK and a European arena tour with good friends Incubus. Despite successful tours and reaching Silver status with sales of more than 65,000 copies of, Shatterproof Is Not A Challenge, within 4 months of its release, the touring was cut short when they were dropped by Sony BMG in June 2004. Colin Doran has said "Our relationship soured with Sony when the MD left the company as he was the reason that we signed in the first place.

Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge. Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge is the second studio album by British-based rock band Hundred Reasons, released on 1 March 2004, through Columbia Records. Following the album's release, the band were dropped by Columbia Records. In 2006 guitarist Larry Hibbitt stated that: there were a lot of things that were wrong with. A lot of it was to do with the fact that we had absolutely no working relationship with the label by the time it came out. There was loads of pressure to get Shatterproof out and get the ball rolling again. They just wanted a record - any record

Sound - 8 Album from UK alternative metal band Hundred Reasons was released March 1st. This second album sees them settle into their style, resulting in a consistently polished album of good hearted, anthemic rock. You might long for the slightly raw edginess that originally made them stand out from the crowd, but Hundred Reasons know what their fans love and this album presents us with an unadulterated selection of uplifting riffs and crunching rock. But in short bursts, Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge remains a bracing example of sturdy, cathartic punk-rock, and we very much suspect that's exactly what Hundred Reasons were after all along.

Hundred Reasons first emerged into the popular consciousness in 2000, that fruitful time when rock music started to be really good again. Even then they were a cut above the rest. However, there are some really great anthems on Shatterproof Is Not A Challenge - "Harmony", whilst appearing plaintive (if not slightly repetitive) from the comfort of your lounge, will no doubt prove to be a fantastic live rabble-rouser. Truth Without Elegance" is another stand out track which builds up to a roaring chorus that tests Colin Doran's vocals to their limit. The album is accomplished without being pretentious and cathartic without bitterness - in short, it's good old shouty rock music

Described as a "ballsier Feeder" (talk about damning with faint praise), Hundred Reasons are a big noise among the new wave of Brit rockers. Opening track Savanna has Colin Doran wailing, "Get on your knees for saviours. They have reason to be confident about their second album, a distinctly British alternative to American knuckle draggers like Korn. Though rife with the self-inflicted angst expected of an "emo" band, it's couched in melody. There are enough lighter-wavers here, the melancholic Still Be Here and Harmony among them, to make the charts

Stories With Unhappy Endings. Album Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge. Stories With Unhappy Endings Lyrics. Why tread so carefully For the fourth time I am ok It pleases when you hear more Stories with unhappy endings. Is your life so perfect That you would not fall down With crushed humility. The sorrow of others that fuels you To judge is a waste of all energy. These are my words for you so listen carefully Stand still Advice is always genius negativity It's all you do This is a mixture of clouded outtakes.

So Hundred Reasons occupy the place in all our hearts known as ‘Anti-Camden’, and Mavis and Talullah or whatever they think they’re called choke at the very sight of Colin Doran’s afro. All good so far. And thankfully, ‘Shatterproof Is Not A Challenge’ delivers. It’s still falls occasionally descends into the realm of the stodgy, but nobody does sunblushed riff-rock as convincingly as Hundred Reaons at their best, and there’s enough of that going on here to make most of ‘Shatterproof’ an absolute scream. Being a second album, the keyword here is ‘mature’. An album packed with tunes that cunning enough not to reveal them all straight away, a record built for FM Radio that drips with experimentation. And one made by men barely midway through their twenties who, now, can hold their heads up as elder statesmen.
