The Splendour of Fear is the second album by English alternative rock band Felt, released in 1984. It is a largely instrumental album based around long guitar passages inspired by classical guitar music, with only tracks 2 and 5 having any lyrics. The cover art is taken from the poster for the 1966 Andy Warhol/Paul Morrissey film Chelsea Girls, designed by Alan Aldridge

This album will include excerpts from the Opera "Amor aumenta el valor" and from the Zarzuela "Para obsequio a la deydad, Nunca es culto la crueldad, y iphigenia en tracia". CANCIONES by José MARIN, Juan HIDALGO, Sebastian DURON (17th century). For disc recording, I wish to discover you the splendour of Spanish baroque music with sumptuous tunes that require a great technical and musical requirement, the participation of passionate musicians playing on period instruments, a place with exceptional acoustics as well as a team of recording professionals.

I use Goldmine as shown below: Record LP GRADING: MINT (M) : Absolutely perfect in every way. Played for testing or still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, if at all. NEAR MINT (NM): A nearly perfect record

In the Fairyland: Baroque Splendour. Prince Nikolaus I (1714-1790)-with the ‘splendour-loving’ epithet-erected the family’s rococo residence in the lowlands of the southern Neusiedler Lake, which he called ‘Eszterháza’ and to which his contemporaries paid homage as the ‘Hungarian Versailles’. The palace’s hall alignments were most definitely derived from French rococo and the most precious materials the world over, out of which furniture and items from the porcelain and silver chamber in particular have been preserved in the collections of the Esterházy Private Trust

The album by Kei Koito features famous and well known baroque and pre-baroque music by composers such as Buxtehude, Praetorius, Scheidt, Scheidemann, and others. The tracklisting is based on alteration: after an organ piece, the corresponding choral work is sung by the renowned Italian ensemble Il Canto Di Orfeo. The program of this album has been recorded in the famous Stephanskirche in Tangermünde, Germany. The Baroque organ of 1624 by Hans Scherer the Younger and his brother Fritz Scherer is especially noteworthy
