Keith Nelson – guitars. Xavier Muriel – drums. Kelly LeMieux – bass.

California rock bands are among the greatest in the world. Rock bands from the United Kingdom-The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, et a. often top the lists of the greatest rock bands in history, but rock bands from California should do just as well. If you don’t think that’s true, then check out the following compilation and maybe you’ll change your tune. Please keep in mind that all of these fabulous bands started their recording careers in California, whose two primary spawning grounds for rock and roll have been the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. One of the top rock bands ever to emerge from Los Angeles in the 1960s, The Doors first album came out during the iconic Summer of Love in 1967.

I Love Rock 'n Roll is the second studio album by Joan Jett and the first with her backing band The Blackhearts. Soon after the first recording sessions at Soundworks Studios, original Blackheart guitarist Eric Ambel was replaced by Ricky Byrd. It is Jett's most commercially successful album to date with over 10 million copies sold, largely due to the success of the title track, which was released as a single soon after the album was released.

His photographs have been published in all major music magazines in Finland and abroad.

On Rock ‘n’ Roll, John Lennon does nothing but interpret old rock. The Beatles didn’t care whether they got the music right so long as they got the feeling. Lennon can recreate the music correctly ( Be-Bop-A-Lula ), but never catches the feeling. In making an album about his past, he has wound up sounding like a man without a past. If I didn’t know better, I would have guessed that this was the work of just another talented rocker who’s stumbled onto a mysterious body of great American music that he truly loves but doesn’t really understand. There was a time when he did.

Rock 'n' Roll Music is a compilation album by The Beatles that consists of previously released Beatles tracks considered by many to be quintessential "rock and roll".

Although the chaotic sessions that spawned this album have passed into rock & roll legend and the recording's very genesis (as an out-of-court settlement between John Lennon and an aggrieved publisher) has often caused it to be slighted by many of the singer's biographers, Rock 'n' Roll, in fact, stands as a peak in his post-Imagine catalog: an album
