Long known for his virtuosity as a fingerstyle guitarist, Danny Heines has been a major force in pioneering the rhythmically propelled technique of "tapping" on acoustic guitar. His multi-layered compositions and uniquely percussive solo pieces are rooted in a strong melodic sense and performed with awe-inspiring articulation.
On Twitter, Danny added that the album will include production from frequent collaborator Paul White. The most successful and important album of our career thus far which has taken ngalexandria to new heights, opened up more doors than we could’ve dreamed, and continues to grow day after day. The overwhelming positivity and support shown by our fans is fueling the fire in the journey ahead of us.
Danny Brown’s new album, Old, is scheduled for release next Tuesday, October 8, and is technically his proper studio debut. For a rapper, Danny Brown looks funny. He’s got that swoopy hair, the (cute) gap-tooth smile, and a fierce old-lady sweater collection. It’s the kind of thing that makes him endearing to atypical rap fans (or atypical rappers, like the equally adorable Kitty), but can get the side-eye from other quarters
