Rush is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974 by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. Their first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album.

Rush released its eponymous debut album in March 1974. 24 gold and 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum) records later, the band is only third behind The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum albums by a rock band. 2112 40th Anniversary. Time Stand Still DVD/Blu-Ray.

Vince Kilic - better known as "Taz" - is one of the antagonists of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Taz appears as the fourteenth Blacklist member of career mode. He drives a gold Lexus IS 300 with a unique skull and tear vinyl layout, and aftermarket decals on the bonnet. This crazy fool is a major heat score. Blacklist gave him the name "Taz". He hates cops and they hate him. Watch yourself around this guy. He prowls the streets of Rosewood looking for newbies.

The most recent track on our list of the Top 10 Rush Songs comes from their 12th album, one of the band's attempts to stretch their music into new territories. The relatively melodic 'Time Stand Still' features backing vocals by Aimee Mann - the first time the eternally insular Rush ever worked with another singer. It sort of sticks out on the album it comes from, 'A Farewell to Kings,' because it clocks in at less than three minutes and doesn't push the thematic concept that barely holds the other songs together. The classical guitar, though, fits right in with the rest. From: 'Moving Pictures' (1981)
